Did You Know?

Many of my system administration skills I learned due to maintaining a Pentium 90 (with Debian Linux) based firewall, router, DNS, mail, and web server from some time in '97 until around 2004 before I finally gave in and bought a wireless Linksys router (WRT54G).

Men in Black 2

Went to see MIIB today. Caught the last show at 10:40. For a sequel it seemed to have been successful. The previews running on tv and in the theatre for the past 6 months did give away the plot, so the movie was fairly predictable. But that's not why people go see it. Nobody goes into a sequel to "see what will happen." We know what will happen. The same thing that happened in the first movie, but bigger, louder and better — if everything goes right, that is. If it's too over the top, it's a flop. That simple. Stick to the recipe, turn up the volume, add something creative and it should be a hit. The jokes were good, some scenes were gross, but overall it was great fun if you knew what to expect.
